On November 11th, Thuỷ Tiên engaged the public’s attention when officially releasing the new MV “Ngải Tình”.
The song is a collaboration between her, the DTAP music crew, and rapper BadBz. “Ngải Tình” is a bit of Old Nordic mythology, tells a story of a charming goblin who falls in love with a painter, but does not dare to confess to him.

Coincidently, the goblin becomes one of a kind in his art collection. In the MV, Thuỷ Tiên played the role of the goblin, and Hồ Vĩnh Anh is the painter.

They seem to be a fine couple on the small screen. Besides, it is said that the most audacious and sexiest scene in the MV is when Thuỷ Tiên and her co-star half-naked in a swimming pool.

However, even she tried to display her glossy and fair-body in a clever, subtle manner, many people had a negative comment that those scenes are rather offensive and mundane.

Within only five days after the release, the Vpop MV “Ngải Tình” already reached 2.2 million views and gained 122K likes on YouTube. Being shared that the song was also composed by Thuỷ Tiên, and it belongs to the pop-dance music genre. Moreover, from interviewing the production crew, it is known that this MV had been executed since December 2019 even before the pandemic. Yet, due to the unexpected impact of the Covid-19, she had to wait till the end of 2020 to publicize it.
