The song “Yêu Là Cưới” of Phát Hồ, a member of X2X promptly reached the top trending on YouTube within three days of release.
After a string of singles including “Cô Thắm Không Về”, “Thiệp Hồng Người Dưng” and “Cố Giang Tình”, the members of group X2X began to focus on their solo careers. Phát Hồ separately created a stir on social media with his solo song “Yêu Là Cưới”.
The song garnered a tumultuous welcome from the audience and it rapidly rose to the top of YouTube’s trending list. This offering is stunning with a lively, bustling, Vietnamese western-style melody, even though it is merely a simple lyric MV without a grandiosely invested setting. The melody’s mix of modern and folk components resonates with the sweet and funny lyrics about Vietnamese western weddings, captivating a wide range of listeners.
Sharing about the new song, Phát Hồ said that he wanted to provide a bright and bustling tune to the audience who have always loved and supported him from the very beginning. “These days, the Covid-19 pandemic is indeed very stressful,” the male singer admitted.
“Perhaps, we should enjoy creative songs to temporarily put away our daily troubles and worries about the pandemic. It is also the reason why the song “Yêu Là Cưới” came to be”. Within two weeks of its debut, this song had surpassed 10 million views on YouTube.

In just 3 days, not bad. I can see this trending for a couple weeks.
This actually sounds like a summer song. I don’t mind hearing it now though. It seems like some of the best summer songs come out in the fall.
The song is so cool! I hear it make me want to get married
