I think you would get a lot more variety if you went off the beaten path.

The best street food in Vietnam for me was a little place called Nhà Bà Ba (Nhà Bà Ba is the restaurant name, but it translates to “Grandma’s House”). They serve all sorts of different ethnic Vietnamese cuisine, from pho to banh mi to cha gio (fried spring rolls). If you’re looking for something quick and light, their banh cuon (steamed rice cake) is amazing. It’s basically just steamed rice noodles that are rolled up like crepes and served with meat or vegetable fillings. They’re fantastic and they have a great selection of fresh juices, too!

Nothing beats some good cheap street food! I have been to several different Asian countries and Vietnam has some of the best. They tend to be in larger portions as well.

I have always loved street food but it can be a mixed bag for a lot of people who aren’t experienced with going to the best vendors. One wrong item can ruin your vacation with stomach trouble. Having lists like this help a lot!

I’ve been to Vietnam and the only thing I can say about street food is that it’s literally everywhere. The only problem is that it’s so cheap, you can’t help but eat way too much of it!
