I’ve been to Hanoi twice, and both times I visited the Temple of Literature (the first time) and Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (the second time). If you’re planning a trip to Hanoi, I’d highly recommend that you go beyond these two places and explore some of the lesser-known destinations in this city.
If you’re looking for an Instagrammable spot in Hanoi then you should definitely check out the Old Quarter because it has lots of beautiful old buildings and narrow streets that can make for some really great pictures!

You can simply walk and explore the areas and get some amazing shots. Life is happening everywhere and sticking with particular spots will dampen your range.
Really, anywhere in Vietnam is amazing for taking pictures. Especially true if the weather is right for it. I can’t imagine going and not having my camera with me for that reason. I am going to get a new, more compact one for my next trip that will have wifi and Bluetooth built in for easy sharing.
