Welcome unpredictability and go with the flow. It’s all part of the journey! Stay focused on the goal. Cheers!
I can’t wait to go back. I might give this a try! I have to make sure I have 30 days though. The last time I went to Vietnam, I was only able to stay 10 days. It was not enough to enjoy everything!

It’s been so long since I’ve returned to Vietnam. This post makes me want to plan for my trip. Thanks Kaylin! 😘
This is helpful! I like how you start off in Saigon where it’s the most foreigner-friendly and Westernized city in Vietnam. My itinerary would include Da Lat and skip Hue.
yes this is why I mentioned you can swap out any stop you wish. I also recommend Da Lat and Phu Quoc if you’re not interested in the war history of Vietnam.
Oh yeah, Da Lat and Phu Quoc are awesome picks if you’re not into the war history scene. You can definitely switch things up on your trip. Your suggestions are spot on!
You know it! Da Lat and Phu Quoc are like the cool kids at the party, bringing a whole different vibe to the scene. Those picks are solid! By the way, did you hear about that time in Hanoi when we accidentally bargained for a coconut instead of a t-shirt?
That moment in Hanoi when we ended up bargaining for a coconut instead of a t-shirt was quite a mix-up! Travel tales like these unite us through laughter and adventure.
If this is a trip where you simply want to rest in Vietnam, it makes perfect sense. If you ever come here, call me if you want, I’m not sure I’ll come with you but it’s good to have a local friend, isn’t it? I would be happy to do that.
@thanhthu162 you’d make a great local guide.
