A lot of the markets are covered well enough that you can walk through just fine without getting soaked. Some areas are complete covered so you can go from shop stall to shop stall and be without an umbrella.
As long as you have an umbrella and wear the right things, it can be a lot of fun doing things on a rainy day! I think people just don’t like the idea of getting wet while out and about but they are the ones who never wear rain boots or jackets.
